Short answer: Vitamin C, niacinamide, peptides and hyaluronic acid can generally be used in the same overall routine. Apply thin, treatment-focused products first, then hydrating layers, moisturiser and morning sunscreen. Compatibility does not mean every person needs all four.
The simplest morning order
- Cleanser.
- Vitamin C serum.
- Niacinamide or peptide serum—choose one if both feel excessive.
- Hyaluronic-acid hydrating gel.
- Moisturiser.
- Broad-spectrum sunscreen.
The order is flexible when textures differ. A watery peptide serum may go before a thicker niacinamide gel. The most important rule is that sunscreen forms an even final film.
An efficient evening order
Cleanse, apply Niamicide B3 Hydro Gel Complex or Peptide Dermal System, add hydration if needed, then moisturise. Vitamin C can remain in the morning.
Using one treatment per routine makes results easier to interpret. A six-serum routine is not more advanced if it pills, irritates or becomes too expensive to maintain.
Compatibility and irritation
The old blanket prohibition against niacinamide with vitamin C is not relevant to most modern formulas. Peptides and hyaluronic acid are also broadly compatible. The concern is cumulative formula load, not a dramatic chemical reaction on the face.
If redness or burning develops, return to cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen, then reintroduce one product at a time.
How much to apply
Use enough for a thin, even layer—typically a few drops or a pea-sized amount depending on packaging. Allow each layer to settle, but long fixed waiting periods are usually unnecessary unless the product directions require them.
Rubbed-off flakes are often dried product film. Reduce the amount and number of layers before replacing the entire routine.
A shorter routine option
Peptide Dermal System already combines a peptide with several hydrating ingredients, which can reduce the number of separate layers.

Frequently asked questions
Which serum goes first?
Usually the thinnest treatment product, with vitamin C commonly placed early in the morning routine.
Can all four be used daily?
They can, but skin need and product formula matter more than theoretical compatibility.
Why do my products pill?
Too much product, incompatible film-formers or insufficient settling time are common causes.
Do I need both peptides and hyaluronic acid?
No. They address different priorities and may already coexist in one formula.
